3 years ago, i went to india, thinking i would just spend my entire time in Calcutta. However, things changed and my family and I were on our way to a small town named Santiniketan for some site seeing. It was not only a cultural tour, but I had found a friend of mine from when i was 5 years old. we spend a few days together, and along with her I helped out Mother Teresa’s orphanage. Their lifestyle, and the lack of everything that the children had was one of the biggest inspirations and influences to become an architect: To provide unprivileged children a home to grow up with colour, joy and hope, a place where they can grow up knowing that they can be a part of the successful world.
